XFL star reveals epic weight loss in preparation for comeback as fans ask ‘what’s his secret?’

TJ Barnes takes dieting to the next level in preparation for his football comeback.
The 32-year-old defensive lineman made his XFL comeback for the Arlington Renegades on Saturday, leading the charge in their season opener in a 22-20 win over the Vegas Vipers.

Speaking of ESPN During the match, Barnes revealed that he recently lost 70 pounds in just four months.
Currently, he weighs 358 pounds, explaining that “I was around 420 at Thanksgiving.”
“December was hell for me, but I lost about 70 pounds and got back in shape,” Barnes joked.
After the video emerged on Twitter, Barnes later commented Attached are photos of his impressive transformation.


He captioned the before and after images: “Yes. December is hell for me. Done.”
Unsurprisingly, one fan was curious to know how he did it, tweeting: “What's his secret?”
Another commented: “Since November? TF how did he do it?”
Another joked: “I'm about 420 on Thanksgiving” “Both you and me, man”
Barnes, an undrafted free agent from Georgia Tech in 2013, made 21 appearances for the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills between 2014 and 2016.
Throughout his career, he also played for the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars and Carolina Falcons, as well as the now defunct American Football League's Atlanta Legends and the Indoor Football League's Massachusetts Pirates.
Currently a member of the Renegades, this isn't his first XFL rodeo, having spent time with the New York Guards in 2020 before the league in 2020. Coronavirus disease Pandemic.
