Weight loss: Brown rice recipes to help you lose extra kilos
2 cups brown rice
¼ cup poha or flat rice
2 tbsp chana dal
½ cup dal dal
½ teaspoon methamphetamine seeds

Soak brown rice in water, cover and let stand for 4-5 hours. In a separate bowl, do the same with the urad, chana, and methi seeds. Cover and let stand for 4 hours. Wash and drain the brown rice, then add to the blender. Form a smooth paste with water. Wash and drain the urad, chana and methi seeds and blend into a smooth paste. Transfer the paste to the brown rice paste and mix. Add salt to taste and mix together. Cover and ferment for 8 hours.
Heat a non-stick tawa, pour in a scoop of batter and spread in circular motions. Sprinkle some ghee on top and let it cook on high heat. No need to cook both sides. Fold and make a half circle. Serve with coconut chutney.
