Tammy Slaton released from rehab after huge weight loss

Tammy Slaton is ready to start the next chapter of her life and become a healthier version of herself.
Fans of the 1,000-pound sister have watched the reality star battle her weight for years. Recently, however, Tammy has made an effort to change her life, starting with her health.
To help manage her excessive eating habits, Tammy checked into the rehab center where she has lived for the past year.
There, Tammy worked with counselors, therapists and nutritionists to do what was necessary to get her approved for bariatric surgery.
After reaching over 700 pounds, Tammy lost nearly 150 pounds on her own by following a strict diet plan and exercise routine.
Now, after undergoing bariatric surgery and losing nearly half her body weight, Tammy is out of the hospital and will continue her weight loss journey at home with the help of her family.

According to The Sun, a source close to Tammy has confirmed she is no longer living at the rehab center she has called home for more than a year.
According to sources, Tammy has returned to her hometown in Kentucky and is adjusting to her new normal. After losing more than 300 pounds, Tammy can now walk longer distances, sit in the front seat of her car and stand on her own for longer periods of time.
It is revealed that Tammy is now sober and no longer smokes or vapes. Before entering rehab, she admitted to drinking excessively, drinking at least eight bottles a week.
Tammy also smoked excessively, which caused problems with her lungs. On one occasion, she had an emergency, stopped breathing and was rushed to the emergency room.
Now that she's home, Tammy is no longer involved in these activities and is instead focusing on reaching her goal weight and living a healthy lifestyle.
Tammy Slaton's husband remains in rehab
In late 2022, Tammy revealed that she had become a wife after marrying Caleb Willingham. The two met in rehab and quickly fell in love. Caleb proposed just after Halloween, and they were married in a small ceremony in Ohio a few weeks later.
Caleb also struggled with his weight and opted to continue rehab despite his wife's release. Although they are temporarily separated, Tammy fully supports her husband and wants him to stay in rehab for as long as possible.
According to The Sun, Caleb plans to move to a facility in Kentucky to be closer to Tammy. Eventually, the two plan to get their own spot and enjoy life together as a married couple.
