Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi’s Last Rites Performed By Daughter Diza And Wife Alesia Raut
TV actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi has died at the age of 46. Vir, known for his successful appearances on shows like Kkusum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti and Ziddi Dil Maane Na, suffered a heart attack at a gym in Mumbai. On Saturday, the actor's final ceremony was performed by his daughter Diza.
His wife and model Alesia Raut was also spotted with stepdaughter Diza and was seen collapsing as they performed the ceremony. See some pictures:
Siddhaanth is survived by his wife and two children – a daughter from Diza and his ex-wife Ira, and a son from Alesia's first marriage.
Many celebrities, including Rohit Verma, attended Siddhaanth's funeral. Some of them even shared how damaging they were with the news. Sidhaanth's close friend and co-star on the series Ziddi Dil Maane Na, Simple Kaul said it was “unbelievable”. “He was in the gym and was working out. (Before that) he wasn’t feeling well and told (one of his friends) ‘I don’t want to work out’; but he pushed himself. He also told the coach and the coach let him Take it easy. He was doing the bench press and he went down,” she told the Hindustan Times.
Simple further revealed, “They took his body to Kokyra (this hospital) and tried to revive him for 45 minutes. They couldn't revive. Alesia was in great pain. She was inside (all the time) and his daughter from Pune Come back. I didn't have the courage to see him, so I didn't go in. It's hard to see your friends like that. Whoever goes in, they come out crying.”
Actor Gautam Rode, who worked with Suryavanshi in the TV series Suryaputra Karn, said: “He played my father in the play and was a soft-spoken and polite guy. Very professional and kaam se kaam rakhne wala. He was physically It's fine, so I don't know what's going on. I'm not aware of any health issues, so the news is so shocking.”
Actor Aditya Deshmukh, who worked with Surryavanshi at Ziddi Dil, remembers him as a “prankster”. “He used to make us laugh. He used to call me ‘Addy my boy' and we used to look up to him in terms of fitness. One of my co-stars told me he had a cardiac arrest,” Deshmukh told HT.
