Latonya Pottain gives an update on her weight loss

A recent episode of My 600-Lb Life introduced viewers to Latonya Pottain. After her mother died as a child, Latonia had a difficult childhood, feeling neglected and abused.
When she was a teenager, her weight was a concern. According to Latonya, food was the only thing that gave her comfort, so she continued to overeat.
At the start of her journey, Latonya weighed over 630 pounds. Being in bed most of the time and unable to walk, she relies heavily on her caregiver and fiancé for her needs.
During her episodes, Latonya struggled to stick to Dr. Now's strict diet plan. She had been eating unhealthy foods and became so depressed when exercising that she stopped physical activity.
Unfortunately, her lack of discipline caused her to continue to gain weight instead of lose it. As a result, she was denied bariatric surgery.
Latonya's episode ends with her attempting to reboot Dr. Now's plans. She said her goal is to lose enough weight to walk the aisle without a walker to marry her fiancé. Now, Latonya is sharing her journey and updating fans on her progress.

Latonia has become active on social media since the show aired. She recently shared a video on TikTok to give fans a glimpse of what it's like after filming wraps up.
She revealed that she is still a part of Dr. Now's program and is working on her weight loss goals. She also confirmed that she is still with her fiancé, who is supportive of her journey.
Latonya also shared that she has received professional help and is now seeing a psychiatrist. She said she was trying to overcome past issues and thanked fans for their support.
In the video, viewers can see Latonia in a wheelchair. On the show, she relies heavily on a wheelchair to move around because walking is too painful for her. She still seems to be working through this hurdle as she tries to achieve her goals.
