Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi recently revealed that she is taking semaglutide injections to lose weight.
“I did gain some weight last year,” king of sunset Mom shared in an Instagram video on Feb. 28. “Unfortunately because of my health I had to have a lot of steroid injections last year and that caused me to really gain some weight. I don't know if it's because I'm 41 or I had a baby, whatever it is. It's been very, very, very hard for me to get rid of that weight.”
GG explained that her doctor, Tabasum Mir, prescribed her “weight loss shots,” which are generic versions of brand-name drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy, and declared, “I'm not going to lie about it.”
Note that she started her injections on 2/5 at 137 lbs and as of 2/26 she weighed 126 lbs. In response to criticism of GG's use of Ozempic (a drug used to treat type 2 diabetes that recently made headlines for its off-label use as a weight loss drug) and similar drugs, GG clarified in a comment that she “does not take Ozempic,” but confirmed that she “Taking semaglutide”.
Bravolebrities have been candid about their views on the trend in recent months. in january, real housewives of beverly hills Actor Kyle Richards put to rest the speculation surrounding her recent weight loss by declaring in an Instagram comment, “I'm not taking Ozempic…never.”
