Celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar reveals that curd is a great probiotic, while raisins are rich in soluble fiber and can act as a prebiotic. When paired together, they can promote the growth of good bacteria in the gut. “Curd is also a well-documented intervention for regulating cholesterol levels, lowering blood pressure, and promoting weight loss. It works much better in the elderly and younger as it prevents constipation and makes chewing raisins Easy,” Rujuta captioned.
She further said that curd with raisins can reduce intestinal inflammation and bloating. This can aid in your weight loss journey. In fact, it's also an excellent home remedy for maintaining healthy gums and teeth, as well as strong bones and joints.
How to make curd with raisins.The Simple Process of Making Curd with Raisins
The celebrity nutritionist explains the process of making curd with raisins in her video. First, she filled a bowl with warm milk. Then she added 4-5 raisins to it and a small portion of the curds that had set the night before. Diwekar recommends traditionally blending it 32 times for best results. Then, place the curd in a cool dry place for a minimum of 8 hours.
The resulting curd with raisins can be eaten as a mid-day snack at 4 p.m., or with lunch.
