Child bodybuilder who won award for his physique as a teenager is unrecognisable eight years on
A child bodybuilder who started competing at the age of 16 is now beyond recognition.
Martin Miller started lifting weights, exercising and dieting at the age of 12.
He then started competing at the age of 16 and played the sport until the age of 20.
In 2018, he won the championship in the men's gymnastics competition of the National People's Congress and qualified for the national team, but has since stopped competing.
Martin said he was trying to find “sustainable happiness and life balance” while competing in competitive bodybuilding.
He wrote on his website: “I realized I couldn't find a healthy balance between bodybuilding and practical life.
“I'm tired of putting my happiness on the date of the next show.”
Martin is now an online personal trainer and coach dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness goals.
He said: “My goal with Martin Miller Physique is to take what I've learned through hardship to others and help guide them to live a full and happy life.
“I made this website to help people get fitter, stronger, healthier and happier.
“My goal is to help people who are stuck in a similar mindset to the one I've been in for a long time.
“With 11 years of life experience, I have learned a lot from success and more from failure.”
While Martin may still be in top physical shape, he looks very different from the way he pumped iron as a teenager.
He has a legion of fans who can attest to his strategy.
Manlio Muniz said: “I had lost muscle mass, but once I started training on Martin's plan and started using good nutrition, I saw results!
“While increasing muscle mass, body fat and weight went down.
“Martin's show is amazing, bro!”
