Cam Lewis: If I knock the ball down to keep Justin Jefferson from catching it, we win

The Fat Lady was warming her vocal chords as the Vikings faced fourth-and-18 with two minutes left in the Minnesota 27. But the Fat Lady forgot that Justin Jefferson played for the Vikings.
Jefferson caught a 32-yard prayer from Kirk Cousins, leaned back like Odell Beckham in 2014, and caught the ball with one hand while stealing the ball from Bills defensive back Cam Lewis.
Lewis, whose first career start was a safety, was in better position than Jefferson on the pass and just had to knock the ball down. Instead, Lewis, like Brandon Carr did to Beckham, would end the infamous end of one of the greatest regular-season games in NFL history.
“Honestly, I think it's in his head, but [I’ve] Just have to be more informed,” Lewis said via Matt Parrino of newyorkupstate.com. “F-fourth and-[18]. Hit the ball down, bro.
“I'm not a selfish player. I don't want to be a selfish player. I'm always trying to put the team in front of me. Just to knock the fucking ball down. It's easy. I have to understand the situation. I hit the ball Fuck, we fucking won.”
Lewis, a converted cornerback, finished with eight tackles. Jefferson had 10 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown.
