With temperatures fluctuating daily, experts recommend eating a healthy diet to boost immunity, improve cardiovascular health and maintain blood pressure is key to staying healthy this season.

According to nutritionist Lovneet Batra, including bamboo shoots in your diet can improve your gut health, protect your heart, make your skin glow, and make your bones stronger.

“Bamboo shoots have a huge role as a health food because they contain high levels of protein, amino acids, carbohydrates and many important minerals and vitamins, and are very low in fat to keep us healthy,” the expert said in wrote on Instagram.
