After weighing 700 pounds at one point, Tammy has lost an astounding 300 pounds in her battle with obesity.
As fans of the show know, Tammy admitted to rehab for a second time early last year in order to get her life back on track.
“When Tammy first went into rehab, she needed to go from around 700 pounds to her goal weight of 550 pounds to be cleared for bariatric surgery,” a friend told US Sun EXCLUSIVELY.
Bariatric surgery is an operation on the digestive system that can help patients lose weight quickly in extreme cases.
She hit her goal weight on the fourth season of the recent episode of TLC's 1,000-Pound Sisters.
As first reported by The US Sun, Tammy successfully underwent life-changing surgery in the summer of 2022 — and her friends claim she's lost another 150 pounds since then.

On Valentine's Day, Tammy posted a new photo on Instagram for the first time in over a year.
Tammy has been keeping quiet on social media while in rehab as TLC cameras are filming season four.

In a special post Tuesday, she revealed her dramatic transformation when she retweeted a photo of friend Joshua Douglas.
While the photo doesn't show Tammy's full body, her face and upper body look noticeably slimmer.
Her friends captioned the photo: “Simply the sexiest girl in the world” and “Love you Tammy”.
In early February, Tammy also bit the bullet and showed off her red hair in a TikTok video posted inside an Ohio weight loss clinic.
The sound Tammy uses in the video is “Fit Check,” which also includes electronic music as she shows off her new hair.
Tammy showed off her black and gray camouflage leggings, which she wore with black heart-shaped sunglasses with white polka dots.
Her only other accessory is her oxygen tube, and she has now had her tracheostomy wire removed.
Newlyweds!
Losing weight wasn't Tammy's only thought in rehab — she also found her husband.
His name is Caleb Willingham, and he lives in the same facility as Tammy.
The couple will wed in November 2022 after getting engaged a month earlier.
A source close to Tammy said: “She started dating Caleb in rehab and I'm glad they met in person and not online.”
Tammy announced her marriage to her fans via video.
“You all know me as Tammy Slaton, but now you all know me as Mrs Tammy Willingham,” she said.
Caleb has been supportive of Tammy on her weight loss journey and has been encouraging her to exercise and eat well to maintain her healthy new lifestyle.
